Cheshire Youth Baseball is a proud
member of Little League. Millions of children on six
continents and scores of countries can attest that
baseball, softball and Little League are synonymous.
Little League is a heritage to be carried forward
proudly in the future by ever increasing waves of
those devoted to teaching children how to play and
enjoy these great games. Little League places
a special emphasis on educating both children and
adults about the many issues we face as members of a
progressive society.

Cheshire Youth Baseball is a proud
member of the Babe Ruth League, which comprises of
Cal Ripken Baseball, Babe Ruth baseball, and Babe
Ruth softball. In 1999, Babe Ruth League, Inc.
announced the renaming of its youth baseball
division from the Bambino Division to the Cal Ripken
Baseball Division. Babe Ruth League, founded in
1951, currently ranks as the premier amateur
baseball and softball program in the world having
steadily increased to its present combined size of
over 874,000 players, on some 44,200 teams, in more
than 6,700 leagues. All players are welcome in CYB's
Babe Ruth League,

Cheshire Youth Baseball's
travel program is affiliated with the
American Amateur Baseball Congress (AABC),
the only amateur baseball program which
provides progressive and continuous
organized competition - sub teens through
adults. Founded in 1935, it is now
composed of seven (7) different age
divisions in the states, Puerto Rico and
Canada.
Cheshire Youth Baseball
travel team's are selected after a multiple
day tryout session.
